The survey on social work related data collected by the government general administration during the Japanese colonial period was not fully understood, and related statistics are also in a state where general researchers can not easily approach it. The contents of the survey on the economic situation, population size, and regional information of the empire in Russia, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States are difficult to access except for professional researchers because they are published in monographs and magazines. The purpose of this study is to divide the social programs of the governor 's office into two types: poverty and security. The poverty project covers a wide range from child protection, welfare protection, to workers' convenience facilities, unemployment measures, and military interest protection, and also overlaps with social welfare and welfare projects in the modern sense. It is divided into themes according to the themes, such as the anniversary of the rescue of the rescue workers, the rescue of the villagers, the torture and firemen, the unemployment survey, And the Sorok Island rehabilitation center. The anti-poverty project is a characteristic policy of the colonial period social work which emphasizes prevention and edification so that the poor are not generated before the poor are saved. In the case of the Japanese colonial period, the main purpose of the social work was to prevent the Koreans from leading to colonial repulsion in the aftermath of the 3.1 movement and the economic depression of the 1920s. At that time, the governor general considered social work not only as preventing or relieving poverty, but as part of the "security" measures of the colonial Joseon Dynasty. In this regard, social work was a device designed to manage colonial rule in a stable manner have. The main data are public market, public pawn shop, labor accomodation, labor situation survey, job introduction (grades), overseas Koreans assessment, Korean immigration and protection, redevelopment house, child affection, social edification book, social education book, Protection and observation system, Military Sponsorship Federation Business Cradle, National Civilization Movement Census, comment on the national conscription, the outline of the military arc business, the labor service movement, and the welfare station. Data on social projects exist as monographs and documents, and the contents of the survey contain information on the purpose of the project, type of project, activity, and result. Therefore, this content is designed to be able to search for content release, title of title (title, chapter, section to third place), index word, If the data includes information on statistics and organizations, they are entered as one file, and collected in statistical folders and group folders. Statistics and group information related to the contents were retrieved through the folder search window. Statistics and group information were entered into Excel to enhance the utilization of researchers.

Expect Effect / Research Utilization

It will be widely used as basic data of Korean modern history research when the results of this study, which compose the database of socioeconomic statistics in the colonial period and annotation and cancellation, are published and released. So far, despite the fact that Korean economic studies have recognized the importance of socioeconomic statistics, these data have not been properly organized and widely used. Through this study, it will be possible for researchers to easily access the data when a large amount of statistical data is systematically collected and provided to the general public. This will allow researchers to vigorously advance and deepen their research by greatly reducing the time and expense of researchers in collecting and organizing data. The most important contribution of this study to academia is that it provides a large amount of accurate empirical data of Korean - Colonial period. The figures of social survey statistics need to be reconstructed from the perspective of Koreans living in modern times. In order to grasp the age of the time when the class contradictions and the national contradictions are overlapped, it is necessary to analyze the socioeconomic survey data carefully. Therefore, in this study, it is not just to organize the socio - economic survey and statistical data in Korean - Colonial period, but to grasp the intentions, characteristics and limitations of the data, I will present it. In addition, the results of this study will serve as the basis for objective and scientific empirical studies on the colonial period.
