Introduction
The purpose of this research is to increase the accessibility and applicability of the general researchers by reprocessing the results of and to provide its public service. The existing result of is an integrated databaseof a total of 32 volumes of “A Series of the History of Immortality (hereinafter called “Series”),”which dealt with the armed struggle against Japan of Kim Il-seong, the political and social leader of North Korea, and his achievements after the liberation, with four subjects, such as ① historical and political terms, ② names, ③ everyday words, and ④ articles by mutually connecting the original text with the annotation data in hypertexts. The existing tasks also published “Glossary of the Series ‘History of the Immortality’ (2009),” which summarized the “Series” by contents and items, “Deconstruction of the Series ‘History of the Immortality’” (2009), and “Reading the ‘History of the Immortality,’ the Cultural Canon in North Korea (2009).” The “Series,” which is the original book dealt with by this research, includes very massive contents included in a total of 32 volumes (more than about 91,000 manuscript papers), such as 17 volumes of “Anti-Japanese Revolutionary Struggles” and 15 volumes of “Postliberation Struggles.” The “Series” deals with the activities of about 30 independence organizations and student groups and about 200 historic events at home and abroad for about 70 years from around 1975 when Kim Il-seong started his armed struggle against Japan to 1994 when he died. As many as a minimum of 80 people to a maximum of 200 people appear in each of the book, and most of the heroes or significantpeople who appear in the books are still living. In addition, the spatial backgrounds of the books are wide areas, such as the northeastern part of China; South and North Manchuria; Joseon area around the base of Mt. Baekdu before the liberation; and North Korea, Japan, and Russia after the liberation, which proves that the “Series” is not limited to the biography of Kim Il-seong but is actual historical data that can analyze the dynamics between the surrounding East Asian countries for the past 60 years.
