Introduction
Targeting the data of human skeletons excavated from Korean archeological sites and published in up to early 2015, this database gathers academic references on various fields related to the study of human skeleton such as archaeology, bioanthropology, paleopathology, moleular biology, and chemical archaeology. It is designed to provide both a general overview of the data, and specific search options for each subdivisions.

The database records in detail the archaeological context, the type of feature, posture of skeleton, type of burial, time period, excavation institute, and academic references for the 2,632 skeletons collected from 254 sites. For 788 specimens it provides in-depth bioanthropological and paleopathological analyses such as the sex, age, metric/non-metric information, developmental/adulthood stress index, infectious disease on skeleton, and congenital abnormality. 152 specimens further include information collected by extracting the aDNA and analyzing the haplotypes of mitochondrial gene. For 225 specimens the carbon and nitrogen stable isotopic analysis results are recorded.

Supported by the National Research Foundation of Korea, this database is based on 3 years of research from 2012 to 2015. It is constructed as a researcher-centered database that delineates the detailed archeological context of each skeleton, along with systematic analyses of biological and morphological characteristics, pathological characteristics, stable isotopic information, and genetic information. For general viewers with interest it can provide an overview on the skeletons excavated from Korea, and for academic researchers seeking to study past conditions it can serve as a tool to search and categorize necessary data.
