The North Korean Dictionary of 20th-Century Arts and Culture is a foundation study on North Korea. It is not a dictionary of terms with linguistic information in a narrow sense, but rather an encyclopedia that provides sufficient knowledge information to on-line users. As such, information and data are provided systematically under various categories on North Korean arts and culture, including basic information such as definitions, theories, policies, organizations and their activities, and education, as well as information about representative artists and their artworks in literature, art, music, performing arts and video arts.
